Officers responded Monday, July 8 to the facility at 49 Old Kings Highway North in regards to an alleged burglary, said police.
A person reportedly told police she discovered the petty cash pouch located in her locked office drawer was empty, according to the report.
There had been approximately $56 in the pouch that last time she viewed it, said police.
Over the next couple of days, the person attempted to locate the money assuming it had been taken by a co-worker, according to police.
On Tuesday, July 9, the person noticed pry marks around the door to her office and noted that the locking mechanism seemed to be partially damaged, said Darien Police.
While officers were on scene, it was discovered that other office doors appeared to have been pried as well, according to police.
Nothing other than the missing petty cash was found to be missing, said the report.
